The Story

Ted was fascinated by astronomy and astrophysics. He constantly questioned what existed a millisecond before the Big Bang. This piece, along with the similar all black piece, explore his interpretation of his musings of the moment before and after the Big Bang.

This was one of the last pieces of artwork Ted completed. Now in his early 90s, it became more difficult for him to build and handle boxes, so he returned to more simple paintings.

As with all of life, Ted returned to where he began. Some of his earliest pieces were artwork done on similar materials.
