The Story

Socrates and Plato are locked into “battle” sharing their ideas and philosophies trying to win the dialogue. Some of what they say are pearls of wisdom. The abacus theme used often in my early boxes takes on a new form in this box as the great philosophers spit pearls of wisdom at each other.

Early in his work, Ted explored the concept of “juxtaposition”, where he placed opposing objects and thoughts in the same scene. This eventually led to some of his more intricate commentary on other areas of life and current events.
